Reed C-212True RMS Clamp Meter
AC/DC Current Measurements Before all you have to select AC or DC function by pressing the “AC/DC” button Once completed, insert the cable to be measured into the jaw and read the value on the LCD display.
AC/DC Voltage measurements Switch the Reed C-212’s main function selector as way to selecct the Voltage Range. Now conect the tests leads, red one to the “+” terminal and black one to the COM jack. Choose AC or DC by pressing the AC/DC button. Measure the voltage by touching the test lead tips to the test circuit where the value of voltage is needed. Read the result on the LCD panel.
Resistance measurements, Continuity Test or Diode Test are an uncomplicated and easy to made. The main step is to select the function by the Function switch. After that step, connect the test leads and start measuring.
Frequency measurements from the terminals Switch the main function to the “Hz” range. Connect the Red test lead to the “+” terminal and the Black one to the “COM”. Connect the tips of the test leads to the points where the frequency of the voltage signal is required. Read the value one the LCD panel.
Frequency measurement with the clamp You can made frequency measurement without touching the wires. Start the test by switching the main function to the “Hz” range. Open the clamp by pressing the clamp-opening handle and insert the cable to be measured into the clamp. Close the clamp and you will find the reading on the LCD panel.
